Walnuts are renowned for their fatty acid profile and high omega 3 content. They are also a significant source of protein and dietary fibre. Activated walnuts have a crisp, crunchy the texture making them a delectable treat!
Our Walnuts are harvested from the pristine forests around the Jinsixia National Park in China. This area is a 10,000-hectare reserve that has been certified organic by a European certification agency according to the USDA-NOP, EEC and JAS Organic standards. This certification also verifies that the wild harvesting is done in a sustainable way. We have 3 flavors of Walnuts - Salted, Barbeque and Ginger Coconut Sugar.

Activated Walnuts are a tasty addition to your addition to your salads and trail mixes. Their unique texture and taste will zest up most culinary creation. Our Salted Walnuts are an amazing addition to savory dishes and make a great stand alone snack. Barbeque walnuts are a great stand alone snack and are a great addition to Antipasto platters. The Ginger Coconut sugar walnuts are a great sweet tasting snack, they also combine well with desserts.
Health Benefits
Walnuts are reputed to be a source of antioxidants and ALA (alpha linoleic acid Ð omega 3). This is important as cellular health and metabolic processes rely on quality omega 3 fats for optimal function. Vegetarians and vegans are often deficient in this essential fat, which makes walnuts a good alternative for people who choose to avoid animal products. Studies into the benefits of omega 3 fatty acids have shown that regular consumption supports lowered blood platelette aggregation (thinner blood) reducing the risk and incidence of heart disease among study participants
In addition to heart health consumption of Omega 3's may help loose weight. Omega 3 fatty acids have been shown to lower blood triglyceride levels (fat circulating in your blood) suggesting more efficient metabolism of other fats by our livers.
